Activities

Heads Up Conference Old

Our activities are inclusive and campers are encouraged but not required to participate. Golf carts and wheelchairs are available to ensure that participants can get around campus easily.

In addition to all of our great outdoor recreation, the Heads Up Conference adds a mixture of educational opportunities to the session with guest speakers and interactive workshops. These activities aim to help you and your fellow participants understand and cope with cancer.

For the evenings we plan special all camp events designed to enhance community and friendship, but also leave time for participants to just enjoy themselves — by working in the art studio, watching movies, soaking in the hot tub or playing foosball in the rec room. We find that there is ample opportunity to share feelings, thoughts and experiences about living with cancer.

Any friend now is going to be a friend for a long time.

Calendar

From the outside looking in summer may seem like our busy season, but Camp Māk-A-Dream works its magic year-round. From special projects in preparation for our major fundraising events to hosting educational workshops at our Gold Creek campus, we stay busy regardless of the temperature outside. It just happens to be summertime that we especially look forward to.
