Activities

These retreats offer the opportuntity to share your story, life experiences and meet others who understand what it means to be diagnosed, or to support a loved one living with, through and beyond cancer – in a safe, supportive environment where you can interact & learn from one another.

The experience blends the fun of a traditional camp experience with the chance to go deeper and explore the challenges and serious side of a cancer diagnosis and what life looks like beyond it.

Just because you’re an adult doesn’t mean you can’t have fun at Camp!

Here we practice “Challenge by Choice” meaning we offer safe, inclusive, and fun activities lead by trained staff give clear instructions, encouragement, and guidance. The rest is up to you – make your own decision whether, and to what level, to participate. Below is a sampling of the types of activities offered during Adult Retreats at Camp Māk-A-Dream.

Every time I cross the Bridge of Dreams, I feel the tension and pressures of everyday life float away.
